I don't agree with anything that he has done even before 9/11 but
maybe everyone should do some searching and you may find out that he didn't screw up the world by himself.
it could be time for everyone to email their congressmen, and senators demanding an investigation to bring out the people that are pulling the strings.

Christmas Vacation. All the kids are out of school with nothing to do.

You are right about he was not alone. The House and Senate both unanimously voted for the Iraqi War, they are all responsible.

Well, it has long been the "Great National Passtime" to beat up the guy at the top of the totem pole - LOL if I've got toenail fungus, gee it has to be somebody else's fault but mine. Now let me see, who's out there to lay it off on? George Bush. Hey he's the President, it has to have been his fault, because it was his job to see to it that my toenails were always healthy.LOL.
Actually, you hit the nail square on the head. George Bush is one man - one purely human man - and he has to delegate it to a great many people to bring him true and precise information and facts about a great many things that are all happening sumultaneously. The people who bring him that information are also very human, and hence fallible. The sources from which they got their gathered information may have been less than accurate, deliberately, or otherwise.
I think we have somehow gotten into this way of thinking that the guy who gets elected to the top office, suddenly develops superhuman powers, and that whenever something isn't exactly going as well as everybody, including him, hoped and expected it to, well then, he HAD to have done it on purpose, because, after all he IS superman. The Bush Bashers don't have a clue they're even doing it, but they're shooting themselves in the foot ultimately. One of these days there will be a candidate come to people's attention who would, if he had been elected, have gone on to become one of the most stunning and remarkable figures that humanity has produced. But when he gets approached with the proposition that he run for this highest of all offices, he'll think of what the American Public has done to many of his predecessors. Because this individual WILL be a great person, he or she will not respond like probably any of us would, and tell them to stick it where the sun don't shine. He (or she) will just say quietly, with a smile "I'm sorry, but I feel my highest priority has to be consideration for the well being of my family" then turn his back and go on his way.
We have become a nation of spiteful, unrelenting bashers of our elected officials - not from a position of real knowledge or understanding of the facts, because we are not privy to all the true facts - but because it has become our juiciest form of "entertainment". Like the WWE and all the other wrestling entities around nowadays - it's not entertaining enough for us any more just to watch somebody doing an incredibly difficult job that we ourselves could never do, against often mind-boggling odds. Oh no! We want to see that person bleed. We want to be able to g et up there in the arena, like our favorite wrestling "bad boy" and kick him , when he's down, and bash his skull with a steel chair We have become a nation that gets its greatest kicks out of building people up so we can knock them down again, and sooner or later, we're going to end up being the ones who bleed. When that happens we'll realise too late, that it wasn't the fault of any President, but the fault of all of us for failing to realise that Government consists of regular human beings. They were not, and never were "supermen" and "superwomen" and what they tried to do for us -with very few exceptions - was their very best, and it was NOT their job to entertain us.

Show me a leader in any democratic nation who does not get bashed, it comes with the job. We pay them to lead us remember that.
Even our old friend President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran was chased out of a meeting at a school recently by his 'bashers' , and he has lost several local elections.
Give any people democratic rights and they will criticize the leadership, that's how it works. Let them know we are monitoring them, it keeps them on there toes, and if they don't perform then vote in someone else.
So Bash away it's what keeps us free.

Now figure- 8 years of all the hating of Bush, then say another Republican gets elected and re elected thats another 8 yrs so now we have 16 yrs of hate, and the 3rd president is Repbulican and so now well do you get it. It's a lot of hate going on and hate is like a cancer. I mean come on people, is there nothing more going on in your life that you can afford so much hate? I have way to much going on to give hate this much attention.

I never liked Bush as a person ever since I saw his arrogant mug on TV. As for his part in the mess we're in, I believe he was able to decide "all by himself" to drop the first bombs on Baghdad. As for the investigations, it would appear that the new Fightin' Dems will uncover the skunks.

You don't agree with anything he did? So you don't like lower taxes and defending your country that was brutally attacked? The reason there is so much Bush-bashing is because he isn't another a$$ kissing, spineless politician. He does what he feels is right. He doesn't govern by what the polls say. People are too used to Clinton sitting on his a$$ and not doing anything besides getting head from some pig intern. The only conspiracy is the one in your head. Quit smoking crack!

First, I would like to say I am a Republican who is totally disgusted with the vast majority of users on this forum who call themselves Republicans.
Here are my observations and opinions about them;
1: They would rather put their own self interests in this president, ahead of the interests of this Nation.
2: They would rather clone, reticule, and demean those who would try to bring serious discussion to this forum, than debate them on their own merits.
3: They also seek to report in an attempt to undermine those stated in #2 in an effort to have those facts removed.
4: and final, history will remember those who stood by while this Nation was robbed, lied to, and stolen from and those that defended those very practices

Thank you. I couldn't agree more.

The bashing reminds me of a quote from the late President Truman: "The buck stops here."

He is one if not THE worst president in history of the country.
He sure isn't responsible alone but he's the front man. As
that you get the merits AND of course the bashing as well.

Muslim extremists have hated America since the 1930's.Bush beat the liberals in 2000. They were already angry about that. They see no reason to kill anyone or anything except unborn babies. They are insane with their hatred for the man. And when it is all said and done historians will say Bush was right. And the Liberals will be wrong again.
