No. By the time your intake liquids becomes urine, it has been filtered for all of its nutrients through the digestive system.

At the point where it's in your urinary bladder, might as well just let go. Serves no purpose to hold on except as a sphincter exercise or for modesty's sake.

?There is no truth to that at all. Actually holding it in can cause all sorts of other problems.
Urine is a product from the filtration that takes place in the urinary system. The kidneys filter blood which in return makes urine made up of sodium, potassium, calcium and other electrolytes. As well as other wastes.

do not hold in your urine, the reason you are peeing anyways is to get rid of things that your body does not need.

Hope this gives you a little understanding of the urinary system.
It is much more complex then what I have shared with you.

that couldn't be any more inaccurate...holding your pee does nothing except place unnecessary stress on the bladder

every time you urinate water soluble vitamins are expelled regardless if your hold your pee or not. this is why when following a healthy balanced diet small nutritious meals are eaten throughout the day. the human body does not have the storage capacity for water soluble vitamins or proteins. the body can only utilize so many nutrients in a given period of time and the rest is expelled through the urine and feces...

That's one I have never heard of. Keeping in your pee is actually bad for you. All the nutrients that your body needed were filtered out through your kidneys. Urine is waste product. Holding it in will cause bacteria and other bugs to infect you.

No, when your urine enters your bladder all the nutrients your body requires have already been extracted. The opposite is true you can cause yourself harm if you hold it in too long.

No; this is wrong information. It is actually harmful to hold your pee in because there are toxins in your pee that need to be released.
When you feel the urge to urinate; urinate.

The urine that is excreted by the kidneys is accumulated in the urinary bladder. From the bladder it is excreted when the bladder is emptied. The bladder has no capacity to re-absorb any urine.
