A woman's first menstruation is termed menarche, and is one of the later stages of puberty in girls. The average age of menarche in humans is 12 years, but is normal anywhere between 8 and 16. Factors such as heredity, diet and overall health can accelerate or delay menarche. The cessation of menstrual cycles at the end of a woman's reproductive life is termed menopause. The average age of menopause in humans is 51 years, with anywhere between 40 and 58 being common. Menopause prior to the age of 35 years is considered premature. While the age of menopause is largely a result of genetics, illness and certain surgeries and medical treatments may cause menopause to occur earlier.

Okay if this is about menstruation than if you can talk to an adult woman in your life than you really should. This site I but down is the best to explain the whole thing to you. It talks about puberty and everything that goes on. Including your period and what to expect. If you can't talk to a family member (woman) Than talk to a nurse or guidance counsel. IF there is a clinic that is close to you than go there. A nurse or someone will talk to you about it.
Good luck. IF you need to talk than contact me on YIM good luck and if you can't talk to anyone else I'm available. bye.

if you dont know what a period is and your online doing this then you need to talk to your mother or a healthcare professional. it is when a girl starts to menstrate which means her eggs start to drop and then when they aren't fetrilezed by sperm her uterus sheads its lining(aka you bleed for 4-7 das normally).
