I mean every year we are expected to do this and that, go to one relatives house or another. How many of you out there had things that you had RATHER had done, but went along with the program anyway, swearing once again that this year, would be the last?

Repeatedly, many times, but unfortunately this won't be the last year. That's why I dread the holidays. Happy new year! Yay!

Deal with it. It's better than having a shattered family that does not know each other because of the disagreements about how everyone else lives their lives. All families have differences and disagreements. Too many people do not realize the strength and benefit your children and grandchildren will get by having an extended family there, even if they do not see them often or get any money from them.

I had to let my kids go to the grandparents cause I didn't have a baby sitter and my motor blew up so I couldn't take them to day care, and I hated this and did vow next year would be different.

I had to go out to lunch with my boyfriends client and his family. To top it all off it was a buffet and the food was horrible. It ended up giving me diarrhea when I got home.
