Three weeks ago, I wrote Pres Bush a letter and asked if he would consider taking Mrs. Bush, VP Cheney, Mrs. Cheney, all of the members of the House and all of our Senators to Iraq for New Years Eve. I suggested that the same number of troops as we have senators and representatives be sent home for the weekend. I further suggested that this would be a really good idea and would probably raise the spirits of our military!
I received no answer.

Don't you know? They usually don't tell us in advance when they're going to Iraq.
Somehow it does not break my heart when my little friends who joined the military for the benefits, free education and world travel have to spend a little time actually doing their job. I work without whining. Don't you?

Have you forgotten that the Democrats have already surrendered to the insurgents, and to the terrorists?
(Except for Hillary & Lieberman, who both support Bush all the way.)
