Their laws in Iraq are different than the laws in the United States. Americans need to remember that we do not run the world, other nations are allowed to have different laws than we do here. The execution of Saddam Hussein was the legal ending of his conviction.
That said, we should look back at our own history. Abraham Lincoln was assassinated in April 1865. In July 1865 (only three months later) the assassins were executed by hanging. Our history is not perfect either.

Yes, the legal government under Iraq law held a trial and even allowed appeals.
So under that nations law, it was legal

seriously.what law does iraq have at the moment.none and it wasnt legal as stated by human rights groups.it was extremely flawed.u dont need to be einstien to work that out.

I dont know about if it was legal or not, but we (american Tax payer) paid 350 billion dollars to hang saddam hussain that makes it most expensive execution in history.
my question to you is, saddam was killed because he killed 183 iraqi citizen what about thousands of iraqi and american who died in last three years who is going to be executed for that?

well, they did it pretty fast and it was sappose to take a month, but if they executed him and its SUCH a big deal, its bound to be legal.
