I agree on you
Hanging Saddam won't make the world a better place.
What make us a better man for hanging him? Yes he killed people and does we have the right the kill him too?
And killing him does't make us any better than he does. It goes round and round, he kill people, we kill people.
The world won't have peace if we keep killing each other.
Vengeance - the never ending violence.
We do not have the right to end a life, we are not God.
The never ending cycles of violence, hadn't you all think about this deeply?
There are people out there supporting Saddam and there are people opposed him. What happens if Saddam is dead? Yes people rejoice and what happens to people who supports him? Violence will continue unless we adopt a different approach to this.

I don't think our leader would have taken it the way Saddam did for sure. I think if you contrast him with some of out "great" Presidents he was better than both Washington or Lincoln. (number of own people killed). I think he wanted to make Iraq a world power and was well on its way to becoming just that until the USA decided we don't need another world power. Iraq will never recover from its loss as it was and still is a tough neighborhood and it takes a tough man to control it. Saddam was indeed the man for the job.

Yes, right, I feel so much safer now Saddam is hung...
The world is a nicer place to live in .. especially Iraq for the American petroleum companies...
I think the death penalty is a disgrace for humankind.
Saddam was obviously a (US-nurtured) monster, but what kind of civilization punishes crimes with a crime?

I believe that only God can create or take a life. In this case, however, Saddam recieved justice from the very same people he oppressed for so long. Live by the sword; die by the sword.

It is the eye for an eye philosophy. The death of one will not bring the thousands back. It has been called justice yet it is the same act that he committed: killing.
