Both resorts are highly recommended and are all-inclusive, meaning your suite, meals/snacks, drinks, non-motorized water sports and activities, gratuities, and taxes are all included in the price you pay up-front.

There are, however some differences that will help you make a more informed decision. Here's some info for you:

Excellence is an "adults only" resort that is rated in the Luxury category.

Paradisus welcomes families (although they do have an "adults only" section) and is rated one step lower - Deluxe. That's not a bad rating!

Excellence has all Jr. Suites with Jaccuzzi's. Paradisus does not offer suites with Jaccuzzi's until your in the higher room categories.

A week at Excellence in their least expensive suite averages $1130.00 per person. One of their unique rooms offers you the ability to swim-up from the pool to your suite; that goes for $1285.00 per person.

A week at Paradisus in their least expensive suite averages $1160.00 per person.

Please note that both prices above are plus airfare from your home town.

The beautiful part of this dilemma is that you can't make a bad decision. Either way you go, I know you'll enjoy it!

I'm going to give you the links to both resorts below. Have fun planning your trip, and Happy Anniversary!

This one's a personal choice. If you're looking for something adults only and want to get "away from it all", then do Excellence. However, if that doesn't matter but you still want something nice, Paradisus will do.
