I think her father and mother started all of mess. I read that father Knowles wanted to sign Jennifer to his management company during the filming of the movie. Jennifer turned him down and he got pissed (supposedly). Then, I read that he went to the producers and said that Jennifer was getting all the scenes and they should cut down on the screentime for her and then, her mother supposedly went off on the execs saying that they were ruining Beyonce's Oscar winning chances. Umm, okaaaay. A bit much if all that is true.
Well, if the parents are all like that. The media all gushing on Jennifer and not even talking about Beyonce much, except for saying that she's not as good, I'm sure Beyonce isn't used to that type of being in someone else's shadow -- especially since she has always been the one overshadowing others around her like in Destiny's Child. She was top billed with Jamie Foxx and Eddie Murphy, yet some American Idol castoff is stealing the show on the movie.
I don't know, I think she got testy during some of the interviews and started with the "I know I'm a star" type talk and saying how she would like to have gained 20 pounds to play the Effie part. All of that came across as passive agressive. Then, when she started that mess about Jennifer never having an album, never been in a movie, yada, yada, and all the pressure she had -- all of that felt like a slam too.
I don't know, I just get a toxic vibe from her stage parents and they got her going in the testy side.
If Jennifer had signed up with papa, then we would have never seen Jennifer in the press for this movie because he would have had a conflict of interest and would definitely had to have chosen his own flesh and blood to promote than Jennifer.

Yes, she is. In an interview she did, the interviewer asked her how she felt about Jennifer getting all the attention and she said she was fine with it and she was happy for her. Then she started talking about how everyone knows she is a good singer and how many Grammys she has. You could tell she was mad and hatin' on Jennifer because she felt the need to list all of her accomplishments in comparison to Jennifer and try to make herself look better. If she wasn't salty about it she would have just congratulated Jennifer on her good fortune and left it at that. Well, they are both nominated for Golden Globes, so Beyonce didn't have to be so jealous.

I think she is trying to be graceful about how she really feels about Jennifer get the attention too. If you noticed on Oprah last friday. Beyonce went to hug Jennifer when she came out on stage. Instead Jennifer went to hug Oprah first and left Beyonce hanging. Then Jennifer went back and hugged Beyonce. I don't know might be some tension going on....maybe just a little salty about it. Either way their both great at what they do.

yep! she is hating, this was suppose to be her movie, she said it herself, this is the role of my life and miss hudson come and steals the show.for one, im happy that jennifer is getting all this attention.
