When you hear a song that you like, which you haven't heard in years, do you ever feel sick to your stomach for some reason? I dunno if it's cause you miss being young or whatever or some memories that come up, but I just heard a song that I didn't listen to since high school and I felt like I was gonna throw up even though I LOVE that song.

Yeah, I get that feeling from time to time, usually songs that I listened to in my better days. It's the nostalgic feeling, for some reason, even though you love the song, it seems like your mind doesn't want to hear it anymore. Subconsiously you want to go back to the day that that song reminds you of.

That's my best guess, ha.

There are a lot of songs that really get to me, and I can`t tell why. Just the beat or the voice or the lyrics, something gets to me. I love music that 1) either makes my heart ache or 2) makes my heart lift. Music never really affects my stomach, more often it`s my heart.
But I love music from the 90s because I can remember it from when I was little.

Bright Eyes by Art Garfunkel kind of makes me feel like that, it was the one of the first songs I loved as a child. I still remember listening to it when I was 3 years old.

the first time i heard John Legend - Ordinary People, i cryed like a fluckin little kid coz i kept thinking about me and my girlfriend and how much pressure we were putting on each other.

to be successful and work and in our relationship and it reminded me that i love her so much and we shouldn't snap a each other for stupid stuff! coz there are plenty of other more trying things potentially to come!!!

bittersweet memories/ reminiscing...

I get that lil depressed feeling when I listen to song that brings back good memories or reminds me of a person I lost.
It reminds you of the harsh reality of life, it goes by too fast.
