If the eye makeup remover was an oil base it definitely could have clogged a tear duct and caused an infection. I always, always, tell all of my clients to never mess around with the eyes. Especially if you wear contacts. Go to the doctor and have them give you the proper care and medication. Try to keep your hands away from the infected area and don't wear make-up until it's cleared up. Make-up has bacteria and can make it worse. Hope you're better soon!

If your eye is infected give it a few days to see if it clears up on it's own. If not see a dr.
Do not wear makeup as it may irritate the eye more and you will be contaminating your makeup.

I also have very sensitive eyes. I like to use Neutrogena and the stuff that comes from Sephora. Just depends on whether I can get to Sephora when I need some.
Almay and Maybelline are terrible!

oh sweetie, trust me that's not too nasty. umm, maybe because Almay is not a really good brand for makeup remover, i tried it once, terrible. and it may be cuz your eyes/skin are sensitive. well, i guess ask an eye or makeup specialist about that..go to the nearest drug store, and ask them waht the best make-up remover for your eyes is. i like Neutrogena,, it's really good. and it's sensitve to your eyes, but the best thing is baby oil. im not kidding, i always use it for removing my eye makeup works like charm!! =) just wait a couple of days until ur eye gets better to wear makeup. take my advice, you do not want to mess with your eyes. good luck!!

well i say go see your doctor. but i use to get eye infection too, the best thing to do is take very warm water and with a cotton ball compress your eye with it 3 times a day. it helps, its painful and annoying, don't use eye make up it will get worse. if it doesnt go away in a week, see your Dr.

Al may is not good. and only use baby oil or a damp wet wash cloth to remove the eye make up.
you should wait until your eye is completely healed.
use eye wash or warm water to clean the eye.
you need to ask a pharmacists the best remover for

PLEASE first see your DR. and don't wear any make up, and keep a hot towel on the eye.
Second: Try Mary Kay Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover, its $14
its meant for sensitive skin. and its worth it.
i always say you can get makeup anywhere, but SKIN CARE YOU CAN'T CHEEP OUT ON.

You should see a Dr.
It could be pink eye, and not at all related to the makeup.
