how can I convince my mom to let me buy an MP3 Player? I found a great one on eBay for only 1 cent (so far) and no shipping and handling fee.. how can I convince her?

Well, why doesn't she want you to have one?
I think you 2 should just sit down and talk about it. Maybe she's not sure what they do, or what they are. Maybe she feels like she can't afford it. Can you earn the money yourself?
Be careful when buying one from Ebay. It might not be what it seems!! Shop around. I found one for $20 at Toys R Us (for my daughter) around Christmas time and it works great! A cheaper one to start out with will work just fine.

The MP3 player is probably broken if it`s only 1 cent!
And if it`s so cheap, why don`t you just try to buy it yourself?
