sooo.. does she?

also, how long is she expected to live, teh man at the mall said 1-1 1/2 years. i would have gotton more information ,but i do not speak arabic, and im a young teenager, it was cute and im doing my best. how big of a cage, ect. and does it only require fish food? or does it need additional substances?

and does she need a "heat lamp" or is a gular lamp ok? i feel stupid for asking because u guys all seem to know what everything is...

i also feel the need to add that at the place she was held before, tehre was no access to land fr her and 2 other turtles, and she was in an aquarium with at least 30 fish.

Well I think that you should give it a little land in the water. I just got a cool tank with a light it's so preety with rainbow gravel and a flower and my frogs only live in water there babys. I thought I needed some land but than the flower was fine they love to play in the flower. Have fun with your turtle.

Your new pet needs a heat lamp, and something to get out of the water.

I used to own Red Earred Sliders, and I just had a branch coming out of the water, for then they could bask in the heat from the lamp. They spend most of their time in water, but they do need an escape from it.

Turtles need a small land area to relax and warm up on. You need a reptile heat light also. Turtles tend to eat shrimp which you can buy any pet store or Wal-Mart.

Yes..With a warming light to warm up under...Go to Turtles.com to find out more....All turtles and tortoises need to have warmth to digest food.....Do not leave it in the water full time.....PLEASE.....

well, yea, you dont expect them to live in water all their lives! They cant breathe underwater. they hold they breathe. they need to lay their eggs on land.

how about you try to get a small land base so it is not too expensive and if she likes it and it looks like she is squished keep on adding to it till' she is comfy!, please make me best answer it is all I have...
