Go to your local LGBT Center, if there is one, and see if they have a business directory. Some cities, like San Diego, have LGBT business associations, as well, where they can advertise and list their businesses (link provided below if you are in San Diego). There are also other gay directories, like the Gay Yellowpages

BTW, to the person who answered "it doesnt make a difference, there is a professional etiquette"....It can and often times DOES make a difference. Most physicians are NOT trained in LGBT issues. Most physicians are trained on sensitivity issues...but not on LGBT issues. There are specific issues surrounding our community...and there are some articles now beginning to appear that highlight that and address some issues physicians can be trained on...(link below)...

Good luck to OP...

Yeah, your doctor should know your sexual orientation and, yeah, they can be homophobes, too. Why do straight people feel compelled to answer these questions? After having a bad experience with a homophobic doctor (you should have seen what a jackass he was after I took my girlfriend in with me for moral support in a severe illness) I developed a new strategy. (I am with Kaiser, so must work with their doctors.) I say, "I'm a lesbian and if you feel weird about that I don't care, but I want you to tell me so I can go to someone else." If the doctor assures me this will not interfere but I'm feeling a vibe, then I push it and ask, "Do you have any gay friends?" (the answer doesn't necessarily have to be yes - one doc told me no, but he had gay clients and I was good with that.) If I don't like the answer or don't like the service I ask for another doctor next time. It can be a hassle.

You don't say where you live, but here in Los Angeles we can go to the Gay and Lesbian Center. Find out if you have a Gay And Lesbian center and get a referral from them.
