I can think of My So-Called Life, which I loved well before it ran on reruns on MTV, but glad it was only a season long as it lives on better not knowing what could have been. I sort of liked the show Surface from last season, even though it wasn't great.
How about you? Any shows you loved and wished they would have returned for a 2nd season?
Have a great New Year everyone!

Freaks and Geeks! I loved that show...everyone from the series has done really well, I don't think they left it on long enough to get a good following...I think it could have been a big hit!
Also, My Two Dads, The Hogan Family, Mr. Belvadeare, the list goes on...but I really loved My So Called LIfe as Well, Jordan Catalano melted my heart!!
Also Reunion...WHO WAS THAT DANG KILLER!!!!

The Inside, a former FOX show that aired in 2004. It had Rachel Nichols ("Alias" and "Dumb & Dumberer") and Peter Coyote. They only aired eight episodes (out of thirteen) in the U.S.A. But in the U.K. they aired all of the thirteen series episodes.
What makes me wonder about this was that they paired it against more popular shows so it never really had a chance; and although the ratings were increasing as the series went on they still didn't keep it.
It was probably one of the shows with good potential but nobody gave it a chance.

I'm bitter about everwood too, esp having rewatched the series on abc family.
But, i am the most bitter about American Dreams getting cancelled. I LOVE THE 60s and it was finally getting away from the prim and proper end of the 60s and into the antiwar and civil rights movements. They pulled the plug too early! It was just getting interesting!
I seriously freaked when my mom called me and told me they cancelled it. Still soooo bitter.....

Undergrads. I was so sad because it was a good show and there were only 12 episodes made. I haven't even seen all the episodes yet.

Didn't even get to show all of the eps they made, but Firefly should have gotten a full season and more.
