There really hasn't been to much trouble coming from the UK against Ronaldo.

After the whole Rooney vs. Ronaldo thing cooled down, UK fans are getting suited to Ronaldo, and are most likely accepting him now. He's not MY favorite player, but he is a great player nonetheless.

If Ronaldo stays away from being stupid, he should be fine.

whether you think he's a wanker or not, you gotta at least give the lad credit and respect what he's done so far this season: I would say that he and Drogba are runaway contenders for top player this term. Cristiano Ronaldo was truly stood up to his critics and all the booing he's received...it's almost as if he elevates his game everyone someone knocks him or boos him.

no doubt in my mind that he is a great player, the best in thge premiership at the moment. as a person, however, it is not just the world cup match but the fact that he has been accused of rape that makes him a figure of hate.

too many rich footballers know that the money and power they have makes them virtually immune from trial for a crime as notoriously hard to prosecute as rape. i am sorry, but believe there is unlikely to be smoke without some sort of fire.

He still gets BOO'd at every away game. It's so old already, it's dumb. C.Ronaldo is MY favorite player and he's just doing his business. Doesn't listen to any negativity, just plays the game!
