Yep. My ex boyfriend came over drunk as hell, he had taken some pills and he started asphyxiating on his own vomit, I had to give him CPR- y'know, the mouth to mouth. I saved his pathetic life!

Most people don't know it, but just plain old puking is alcohol poisoning. That's why you puke - your body is trying to get rid of the alcohol. Of course it can get much worse. There really is very little you can do on your own. If you suspect that things have gotten really bad you need to get them (or yourself) to the emergency room. They'll pump them full of fluids and give them some B12 shots.

I have had a "friend" die from alcohol poisoning. He was always drinking rum straight from the bottle. I think he was around 30 years old maybe. I didn't know him real well as he was a neighbour of my ex-husband. I'd pick him up hitch-hiking on my way to pick up my daughter at her Dad's.

Yes and it wasn't a pretty sight. The person drank so much vodka that they were literally were like a vegetable. People were trying to get her to throw up but eventually called an ambulance.

yes often they look tired and look like they are going to fall over. You must quickly get them to the hospital or if they are young tell a responsible adult. Try to get the poisoning out of their system.
