Since he's a new nurse, he doesn't know much. So I often help him out to get things done faster. One day, he said he liked me and he asked me to hang out with him. He seemed nice, so I said yes. We hang out together for 3 months and had a great time (without sex although he often asked for it), I always say "No". One day, he told me that he had a wife and a kid. I freaked out. I told him from now on I just want to be his friend, nothing else. He said that he really love me and that's why he was being honest with me about having the kid. He said that he will devorce her tomorrow, and that he wants to start a new life with me. I says I can't live with him, he keeps calling me. What do I suppose to say to him without breaking our friendship?

First I applaud you for not having sex. An old saying is true...."never cut your meat where you make your bread". Now about him.....Consider all I am about to say: It seems to me that he's after just one thing. If he says he's willing to leave his wife and family and divorce tomorrow...to be with you....hmmm, I've heard guys say that line many times.......then you and him eventually will have sex......then 2 weeks later he'll announce that he's getting back with his wife. He's already proven he's not trustworthy. If he really would have respected his vowels, and his family, he would have never asked you to go to bed. Then he purposely hid the fact that he was married with a child. Is he that unhappy where he's willing to make his child upset in losing their "daddy"? Suppose you and him do decide to get together. What is going to stop him from leaving you to go with someone else? You said you've never had a boyfriend before...I've been around nurses all my life. I've seen this game played many times around the hospitals and nursing homes. History repeats itself...time and time again. With friends like him, you don't need enemies. I can explain more if you want, just send me a message. Have a great day.

Number one, he is married. Number 2, he has a kid by his wife. Number 3, you work with him and that is not a good thing. Number 4, if he is trying to cheat with you he will cheat ON you. Don't do it. If you continue your friendship with him it might lead to further involvement, like sex. Drop him before you do something you will regret.

Seeing a married man is dead end 98% of the time. They usually don't leave their wife and if they do there's a good chance they'll cheat on you eventually. A work romance isn't a good idea either.

He's got a problem and needs to talk to his wife about it. You did nothing wrong. Keep it at the friendship level. He has the problem not you. Tell him to talk with his wife or you will.

He done already broke that 'friendship' sister. The first lie he told you. I'd pull out of that one quickly - a man who cheats on his first wife will cheat on the next one too.

Tell him that unless you see an actual finalized divorce settlement you and him will only be friends - and that's that. You are doing a great job sticking up for yourself. The right guy will come along.

Break it off completely and tell him that he is going to complicate both your employment situations if he continues his behavior.
