Since they are lyrics only and not music also, you may want to send them to artists who write their own music. However, sending it to them and them actually seeing the lyrics are two different things. You might want to also send it to music publishers.

You can copyright the lyrics through the copyright office Washington D.C. or you can mail them to yourself using certified registered mail and make sure the post office puts a time and date stamp across the back flap where you seal it and then NEVER open the envelope once it comes back to you.

Don't send them to anyone unless they are copyrighted, unless you want to see someone else make millions off of your idea.

If you have an artist in mind who you think would make a good production of it, you can try sending it to them or their office. If they don't use it, they might pass it along to someone else who will if it's good enough You'd be amazed at how much some really good songs have been passed around before they are finally recorded. Musicians have one of the best networks for circulating song ideas.

Why send them away? Sing them, or find someone else to sing them for you, or publish it in a book of poems, or something.

my advice would be to send them to everyone you can..........hand them out..........mail them.......email them........mass quantities...........youre looking to get yourself out there.......

the more people that see it.........the better chance someone likes it enough to make a song out of it.........
