I heard the schools would be closed on Tuesday in New York city and elsewhere for the passing of General Ford. Does anyone have an answer to that question.

I don't think so. I was in school when Nixon died in April of 94 and I still had to go to school. I don't think any schools canceled when Kennedy was assassinated.
I do know that non-essential federal offices will be closed and that includes my sister's office at the DoD.

i know that federal buildings that are not used in the weekends and hollidays will be off, but iam still trying to find out if we have school tommorow...we shouldn't hav school but i wouldn't blow off any home work u might hav and take the risk :/
