Okay, generally with frogs it's a bit difficult to tell. With Litoria caerulea the females are generally larger, though some males can be larger than some females - so it's not really the best way to tell. If you have speakers attached to your computer, use a search engine to find a recording of the breeding call and play it to your frog. The frog will usually call back to it (if it doesn't, play the recording a few times) If the frog is male, it will respond to the recording with a loud 'WOK WOK WOK' that will generally go for about 10 seconds or so. If it's female, it may still call, but it will only go for 3-5 seconds. Alternatively, if the frog has been prepared for breeding, take a look at the front feet - if the thumbs have a dark bump on them that wasn't there before then it's a male - these are used by the male to help him grip onto the female when spawning.
