ok so basically last month i got my period it was late and it lasted about 6 days and it was normal red color but then turned black after the 1st or 2nd day.. then after my perid ended like a week later i started bleeding again (not heavily just like spotting) and it was black... then this month the same exact thing happend to me... is this normal and just go on with it or should i go to the doctor?

Go and see a doctor. It could be nothing exciting but there might be a problem.

It would help to know your age, but generally it’s normal. Our bodies go through hormonal changes and its okay; stress could also be another factor that causes irregular periods. If it’s bothering you, then your Dr could put you on birth control. other then that, you seem to be pretty normal, just always remember to carry tampons or pads everywhere you go to be on the safe side.

Go to your doctor.

The "black" blood could be an indicator of deeper bleeding, like with fibroid tumors (not cancerous).

Brown blood is usually old blood, but black sounds like a deeper issue.

You didn't mention your age, but what you describe is very much like what I've been going through the past couple of years as part of perimenopause.

id go see the doctor. i have had something similiar to this too- and i went to my doctor. he/she can help you.
