Scan the ads in your local newspaper. Mine always has an ad looking for used appliances working or not. We have a second hand computer/games/movies/music/musical instruments store in town also that will buy some of your stuff if it works. One of my friends works at a place called "computers for schools"...they take in donated computers and get them working for the schools.

Put an add in the newpaper asking for bids or your just selling it. I did that and the day it went in the paper I had a person at my door steps. You'll be surprise at what people can be looking for!

You can sell the working appliances on Craigslist.org to local residents who may want them.

The broken ones, you can try, but in most cases, you'll probably just have to ''junk'' them.

If they are broken no one wants them, not even the thrift stores. If they're in good condition try craigs list or the sale classifieds.
