They say that because first love of a significant other entails a feeling you will never forget once you experience it. You emotionally associate this feeling with the first person who was able to evoke it within you. Love is feeling you cannot "know" until you experience it firsthand, and the effect is exhilerating--being one with another person, the connection of mind/body/soul.....it creates a yearning that follows you throughout life and as you meet other people--the desire to recapture that euphoric feeling has a strong connotation with your first love--it may not be so much the person that one remembers and misses but those initial feelings that are overpowering when felt for the first time.

There's a bond that can not be duplicated. Some people will compare that 1st love with every other love. I'm not sure about this because I have only had one love and we have been married for 28 years.

because its just such a wonderful expirience! your first love, first kiss, first romantic hug :] theres just so many thing to remember... how could you ever forget your first love?
