It's not uncommon. It just makes you VERRRY much a Gemini. The way you communicate is how a Gemini would (Mercury). Your emotions are that of a Gemini (both because of your Sun sign, but mostly because you have Moon in Gemini), and you present yourself as a Gemini (the Ascendant).

Not at all. Mercury is never more than 28 degrees away from the sun anyway ( in layman's terms, that means if your sun is in Gemini, your Mercury will either be in Taurus, Gemini, or Cancer). And to have moon and sun in Gemini means you were born during a new moon. Communication, education, travel, your siblings, aunts/uncles will all be more important in your life than most people. You may receive gift/inheritance from one. Be very careful of whatever documents you sign throughout your life, doublecheck and read the fine print. Would tend to indicate a very close bond with the parents, whether for good or ill - you have to look at the other aspects. Same with your parents. Depending what else Mercury aspects, you would be an excellent real-estate sales person, or any kind of salesperson or promoter, an excellent elementary school teacher.You may even work for an attorney eventually (maybe handles wills or corporate matters). People who are ill, in hospitals or in nursing homes, etc, would tend to appreciate your cheerful upbeat personality. And to have your Ascendent also Gemini means you were born (depending where you were born) generally between 4 and 6, thereabouts.

Not any more rare than any other combination....but I bet you just love to talk and write, that you can never sleep, and your mind changes as fast as the wind blows! You must be one ball of energy and quite the entertainer...it's going to be tought to find somebody to keep up with you!

Might be....I have all of my planets except one in the same quadrant and the one that's not (Saturn) is directly opposite the
others. That is very strange.
