Mostly crap, although you're better off using regular (non-waterproof) mascara on a daily basis. Waterproof mascara takes a lot more to get off, and I always seem to lose one or two lashes in the process, so if I wore it every day, it wouldn't be long before I had no eyelashes.

Mascara does not damage your eyelashes, however it helps to stay away from waterproof mascara. Because it is more difficult to get out, you can lose a few eyelashes in the process. Time after time you will lose alot of eyelashes, and I've heard it takes a long time for them to grow back.

Mascara doesn't damage the eyelashes, but the removal can take a few out with it. A good eye makeup remover makes life a little easier.
And give your lashes a break every few days, that helps them recover, too.

Well it just depends. It will definitely ruin your lashes if you sleep in mascara (which i have to admit i do sometimes) they will break, and sometimes fall off! Some mascaras also have some preservatives that aren't good for your lashes, but as long as you take it off before you sleep, it should be fine. On the other hand though, there are some mascaras that contain Vitamin E and other vitamins which actually condition and help strengthen your lashes!

Crap. As long as you take your makeup off every night, your eyelashes will be fine. Don't share your mascara with anyone else, and toss it for a new one every 4-6 months.

CRAP. I use mascara basically everyday and I've never found it to be a problem. Everyone else is right- a good make-up remover or just washing your face really well before you go to bed at night will help you keep your lashes.

If you wash it off every night before bed and use a proper mascara remover cream, you should be o.k. But if you leave it on overnight or even longer, it gets hard and brittle and your eyelashes could break off.

As long as you remove the makeup before going to bed and rest the eyes without it some days , I think it's no problem. But If you use make up every single day and sleep with your make up on sometimes you may take this as a truth.
