I think there is something wrong with the cd burner part. I have no problems burning dvds using the same burner though. Whenever I try and burn a cd, it burns all of the songs except like the last 3 or 4. There is plenty of room left on the cd so I have no idea why this happens. An error comes up saying that to make sure the cd is clean, or try brand of cd. So I tried that and still the same error comes up. It suggested burning at a slower speed, so now i am burning it on slow speed, can't go any lower! Help, I'm sick of wasting cds!

First off, what are you trying to burn? Songs? Data? Straight copies?

Also, if songs, what program are you using to burn the songs FROM? Windows Media Player?
I know that WMP will say they will not fit but when you check the cd, they are all there.

Also, have you thought that maybe its a bad batch of cds or that your "firmware" may need to be updated etc?

Some cds are copy protected and will cause this problem if you try to simply copy the entire disc in one operation. What you should try is to add each track one at a time to your burn list. Then burn those tracks together on a cd.
