I have heard love described as when you care more about the other person than you care about yourself. Don't worry about what the rest of the world thinks, including mom and dad. If it's really love you won't just want to be with him, you HAVE to be with him. But you are quite young and luckily you don't have to figure out such complex things right now. Have fun and see where it leads. Love isn't something that smacks you over the head, it's something that wraps you up in warmth slowly. When it's real, you'll know.

im going to give you what love is and what infatuation is first love: 1.) is an unselfish caring about the interests of the other. 2.) romance often starts slowly perhaps taking months or years 3.) you are attracted by the other persons total personality and spiritual qualities 4.) the effect on you is that it makes you a better person 5.) you view the other realisically seing his or her faults yet loving that one anyway 6.) you have disagreements but you find that yu can talk them out and settle them 7.) you want to give and share with the other person. now here is infatuation: 1.) is selfish restrictive one thinks what does this do for me 2.) romance starts fast perhaps taking hours or days 3.) you are deeeply impressed or interested in the others physical appearance 4.) a destructive disorganizing effect 5.) is unrealistic the other person seems perfect yu ignore any nagging doubts about serious personality flaws 6.) arguments are frequent nothing really gets settled many are settled with a kiss 7.) the emphasis is on taking or getting especially in satisfying sexual urges

when you consider that a very long term in the past, human beings have sought for the meaning of affection. yet even the excellent philosophers, with their profound definitions, ought to no longer totally touch its genuine essence. In a survey of four-8 3 hundred and sixty 5 days olds, young ones proportion their perspectives on love.

the movie 'It Takes Two' describes it best for me... "That can't eat, can't sleep, reach for the stars over the fence, world series kind of love."
cant live without them
their the first thing on your mind when you wake up and last thing you think about when you go to sleep
you picture yourself with them 10 years down the road
they're your best friend

If you start hating him when you get angry then it is probably not love. when you are in love you will know it without a doubt.

to me love is when you really don't care about what anyone else thinks about him. it's when all i can think, talk, and dream about it him. it's when you kiss him & you feel as if you would fly away if he wasnt there holding you. if you love him you shouldnt listen to your mom, however listen to her first, you make the decisions, just make sure theye are smart!
