I've been hearing in the news that meat is being cloned? is this true?

they're saying that the meat from cloned animals is approved by the fda to eat.

Yes it has. As a matter of fact, cloned Beef will soon be available at a supermarket near you! And, because the meat is completely identical to non-cloned Beef, the USFDA has decided to not label the Beef as cloned.

Actually the debate was whether cloned food should be entered into our food supply without being labeled.

And yes, our good ol' FDA is allowing it. Way to regulate the industry, huh!

Yea... I heard they said that they take the sample of certain cells in the meat, put it into a culture solution, and ta-dah, new meat is created... But I wouldn't eat it... Anyway it's only available in certain countries, so I don't have to worry too much cos it's going to available in my region...

but cloned meat has been approved by the FDA

yes it is being cloned it has been aproved to eat but hard to purchase.

yes and they will be testing its effects on the human body by serving it to inmates. But first it must feed those starving kids in africa...ahhh the irony....
