I just bought these new cute shoes:

and my friend and i are having this argument about whether or not you are supposed to wear socks with them when you wear leggings. what do you think??
They think i should just wear heels with them but i am tall and wearing heels makes me feel like a giant. what should i do??

Eh, Well, in the long run, I wouldn't recommend payless shoes. They're cheap, but wear out easily and don't last long. But on to the question.
No short or cropped leggins, which tend to look dated and a bit trashy. And the socks can be a bit catholic school girl. I would go with a pair of cute printed tights/leggings, maybe in a bright color.

hmm. u can wear socks but make sure ur wearing converses over them and not like nikes or anything cuz that just makes a person look duck feeted...foooted?. and the socks are ankle socks. and prefferably not showing throo the converses.
if you preffer to go without socks and dont want heels then get those cute ballet slipper kinda shoes that are out now with the lil bows on the toes. very cool...but thats just my opinion.
and if you dont like those then F*** what the world thinks and do what YOU want. wear knee hight socks if you want. but personally i dont think thats ANYONE's style.
with legggings i mean.
no...those shoes are too formal-ish...leggings is a casual, rebel-ish style.

These shoes would look great with leggings. Socks would go great with these shoes. For a preppy look or just a great look these wigwam slouch socks would go great with this outfit. Especially the white ones. Wear the socks slouched down over a pair of leggings. Great look!

Socks and leggings are very preppy. Heels would work too. It depends on the total outfit and what look you want to go for.
[I kinda agree with the person right in front of me. Leggings would really look good with those shoes! :) ]

tall is always great! as for the leggins part... go for the leggins in a bright color... those shoes look too old lady like... some cool leggins will update them and make them look very chic

those are the ugliest shoes ive ever seen, and no leggings, those shoes are not the right color, dont u have taste.
