You don't need to bathe your rabbit---in fact, it's dangerous to do it because it stresses them so much. You do need to brush him. Use tools designed for cats, and hold him quietly in your arms every day as you groom him gently. Since he has long hair, grooming is vital. Long-haired breeds can get hairballs, which can be deadly without expensive surgery. Removing hair before he licks it off and swallows it prevents hairballs.
Every time you take him out of the cage, be predictable, calm, and quiet, and give him a treat, like a sprig of parsley. Put him back as soon as he starts to seem nervous: if he learns that he can go back where he feels safe whenever he needs to, he'll trust you more and want to stay out longer. Go slowly, and pay attention to what he's feeling.
You also need to clip his nails. You can use human nail clippers, or, which is easier, cat or small dog nail scissors, which have a curve that holds the nail in place. Cat, dog, and rabbit nails have a fleshy area and a dead area. The dead area starts when the nail suddenly gets thin. Keep it fairly short, and don't cut too deep, or you might hit the fleshy part and hurt the rabbit. To hold him still, wrap his whole body in a towel, covering his eyes, and hold him firmly between your arm and stomach so he can't struggle.
As for food, he needs a low calorie hay, like timothy or oat hay, and plain pellets (no fruit or nut bits mixed in---rabbits don't need them.) He should have all the hay he'll eat, and when he stops growing, at six to eight months old, he should only get a set amount of pellets, and no sugary treats. Follow the instructions on the pellet package for appropriate feeding. Remember, it's easier to put weight on him than to take it off, and a trim bunny is an active bunny.
Ti-rone is a terrible name for a rabbit. How about Galahad?
Good luck!

Spend a few days with him, you'll come up with the perfect name.
Please go to http://www.rabbit.org/ to answer all your questions about having a bunny. It's covers care, behavior, and health topics among others.

Remember, rabbits are usually very social animals. They enjoy being out of their cage, getting pet a lot. don't leave him sitting in his cage all alone. You can even litter train your bun.
You'll be well rewarded for the time you put into building a relationship with him.

Okay, well I had 2 bunnys for 8 years, but last year they passed away. I suggest naming your bunng Flops or Walter, if the bunny is a girl, name it Jinny, or Bubbles. O, and I would give my bunnies baths whenever they got really dirty. I got its nails clipped whenever they need to be. Please let them jump around your garden, and give it free time, that is essential in bunnies lives :)

to start with, dont bathe him. rabbit's can become very ill and catch colds from that. they will groom themselves. i'm not sure about clipping nails; i don't clip my rabbits but the vet does when i take her for general check-ups'.
ti-rone is a horrible name, dont call him that. call him...
star
sunny
snowy (snow)
domino (i always suggest that just because it was my bunnies name!)
sky!

just think what he would like to be called!
good luck with him!!!

How about "Bugs" for a name? You know, Bugs Bunny!

I had a bunny years ago and would give it a bath once or twice a week. However, the fur would stick to my tongue......(drum roll *crash*)
