If so, don't you think they may resort to other means of sexual abuse? Is it physical or pscychological?

No it doesn't help. Sex offenders who have been castrated have been researched and it has been found that they can increase their testosterone (that drives their sexual fulfilment) by pumping iron. Sexual Offending is a Psychological problem, so castration is just not dealing with the issue.

Castration would do no good to a sexuall offender. It is about power and control not sex. They would turn to other and probably more violent or sadistic acts if castration were done. Sexual offenders are sick people, but it is mental illness. Most of the time brought on by others who did the same to them.....no kidding.

That may help and put them in a straight jacket. But if they do not know who they are in reality they will keep trying to do perversions. The Vedas recommend chanting the Maha Mantra for all diseases, disorders and the biggest mental illness is that we thing we are the body and this world is our home. It is called Maya(illusion) and is temporary and full of misery. Everyone should chant this great mantra for deliverance from suffering and illusion. go to krishnaculture. for details- Read Bhagavad Gita as it is BY Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada

haha
when i am thinking extremelyin a feminist fashion i feel that yes they should...and no they wouldnt at least abuse others sexually
because ifthey have no testosterone flowing through their body then no more sexual urges!
but really as much as this is a good solution and secretely as a feminist it would give me pleasure to do so i am also a humanitarian and believe it is immoral...they need help not castration!

I think that sex offenders should experience the exact same thing that they made the victim experience. Example: a man rapes a woman, someone should shove a broomstick up his poopshute.

It would prevent them from doing THAT again, but a truly sick individual will always find a way to harm someone else.
