I cant really say yes or no to the question because death in all ways is bad really....i have seen what they could show of the when saddam was hanged and it does instinctively make me feel sad, i suppose it would anyone because its hard to imagine yourself being in the situation that he was in-how would you be feeling standing there with a noose around your neck knowing that any second the hatch would open and you would have your neck broken? After all he is a human being too but then we do have to remember what he did and the people who died because of him and all the trouble he has caused.....im not saying i definitely believe in the death penalty but if someone killed a family member of your own or your friends would you want them to die? i probably would want them to....But it still made me feel unhappy.

No.

December 29: Vatican official says executing Saddam would be wrong: http://www.kwqc.com/Global/story.asp?S=5865506&nav=menu83_2

December 30: Vatican spokesman denounces Saddam's execution as 'tragic': http://www.usatoday.com/news/religion/2006-12-30-vatican-saddam_x.htm?csp=34

Jesus, John 8:1-11, spares a women guilty of adultery whom the Mosaic Law said should be stoned to death.

If the guilty person's identity and responsibility has been fully determined then non-lethal means to defend and protect the people's safety from the aggressor are more in keeping with the common good and the dignity of the human person.

The Church does not exclude recourse to the death penalty, if this is the only possible way of effectively defending human lives.

However in today's modern society, the capability of rendering the offender incapable of doing harm - without definitively taking away from him the possibility of redeeming himself - the cases in which the execution of the offender is an absolute necessity are very rare, if not practically non-existent.

With love in Christ.

Hell yeah!

Saddam Hussein was a very naughty man. Just dont like the fact that the US was involved. Would have been better if it had been up to the Iraqi's themselves.

Yes, provided u don't deserve a death sentence. Provided bush never killed any innocent. provided all those iraqis never killed anyone. Now, that he is dead, he has got his punishment. Stop hatred for saddam. God has blessed him with peace & joy, whether anyone accepts this fact or not, but that is the truth. He is now the blessed one, in heaven in the presence of the holy trinity.
I am least bothered, if anyone likes or dislikes my answer.

How could desire to helping a familiar assassin ever be "ethical" (different than, of direction, interior the eyes of politicians who stood to line their wallet properly from such institutions)? I heard there grow to be a image circulating on youtube numerous years in the past that confirmed a image from 1991 of Osama bin encumbered sitting at a picnic table at Bush's Crawford Ranch in Texas. Ten years later, he's international Enemy #a million. If that photograph grow to be actual (i could desire to by no skill locate it), what the hell truly is going on?

No i do not think he should of got executed. the U.S have very differnent laws to them and all this was done in his own country. apart from when he invaded kuwait but still bush invaded iraq and look how many innocent people have been killed by his force. i thought it was the wrong decision and the americans decision - send them home theyve ruined that country.

He massacred hundreds of thousands of innocent people throughout his life, including his own family members. There is absolutely NO question that he should have been executed. It's just too bad he wasn't tortured prior to facing the gallows.

This is a really tricky question. Saddam Hussein the famous dictator. I dont know you really need to sum it up simply.

Pros - He is gone - He has been punished - He will cause no more harm - People are Happier..

Cons - Condemned by alot of people - two wrongs dont make a right - we are worse than him by killing him - he might of been non guilty which i doubt... Sum it up yourselves... im not at liberty to discuss but you can yourselves. thanks guys and happy new year.
