Great question, I understood what you meant.
Its in the word "RELIGION"
A religion is created by a man or group of men (women) humans, and there lies the problem. Flawed humans make rules for others to follow.
So killing others in the name of RELIGION makes sense to them and the people they con into their belief and way of thinking.

Im guessing u meant religion.
Ok I've pondered over that question a lot of times. And the answer dat i've come across is as follows- Every religion believes in ONE GOD. So far so good. The problem arises when every religion says that ONE GOD is our God. And the path shown in their particular religion is THE ONLY way to reach God. So christians do not believe in anybody else except christ. Muslims think there is only Allah. Somebody thinks only Buddha.... tree, river, sun etc etc etc.
