No. Though he was a bad person he should of been left to rot in a jail cell.
And he was executed t the start of a religious festival which is only going to cause more violence and shows a lack of respect to the religion. So many troops have died in a needless war and now so many more will die because of this terrible timing. So in my eyes they were as bad as Saddam for doing this. They want a war afterall but noone else does

Yes I do...110%! Hung, shot, gassed, electric chair, what ever it took. He took so many lives because of his wanting power and then retaining it, that he got what he deserved. I personally believe in "an eye for an eye". Although I would have preferred to have had HIS OWN people put him on trial and decide his fate, that would have NEVER happened with all the fear that he put into the people of Iraq in my opinion. And even though I agree with him being hung for his crimes, I fear of the back lash effect it may cause throughout the world in terrorist attacks against the US and the UK for our role in capturing him and bringing him to trial and to his death. I also fear for our troops in Iraq for any up-rising of his followers against them once they realize that he is really dead.

NO...what he was doing in Iraq was none of America's business. Do you honestly think that if something like that was going on here that they would help us??? No way. They can't even fight for themselves against their own people. If it was right for him to hang then Bush should hang as well. Look at all the people he keeps sending over there to die. It's the same thing. Everyday he kills his own people. All this is a personal thing. What goes on over there doesn't matter too BUsh. Come on wake up he don't even care what goes on over here. His idea of helping is jacking up gas prices....What a great president (alot of sarcasim there) All this did was start more trouble before it's all over with there will be war in America

Yes I do. After what he did to millions of his own people and others, he deserved and received exactly what he got.
Even though I am a Christian, there comes a time when evil must be stopped. Plus, I've never heard of a benevolent dictator.

I think it is disgusting that they hung him today on Eid, one of the holiest days of the year. I agree he is a total psychopath but to hang him, video tape and show it to the world on a day of peace and generousity...pretty disgusting and I feel it is very Un-islamic. The equivalent would be hanging Tony Blair or George Bush on Christmas and sending the pic on your family Christmas card. I think those who carried out his execution will have a lot to answer for on their day of judgement. They let Milosevic off the hook with life imprisonment...but I guess cause he is Christian...

Well ...... its sort of a hit or miss situation. The damage has already been done by Hussein ... By Executing him wont undo the harm, sure it brings closure to people hurted by his reing. When you really think about it now well me i mean .... was it done for justice? pride? or to bring and end to his era? . My biggest question tome is are we going to see the true end to his reing where his followers just stop beleiving he is a martyr and let it be .... or do we have to fear from anything that can harm us . Hey is just my opinion you know ?

Yes and No, with him being dead doesnt bring anyone he got killed back to life, I think it would have been fair if he could be brought back to life and killed again and again with no memory of what happen once he was dead but with the feeling of fear he felt right before he died. Killing him once for every life he took and having him feel the great pain that he caused to too many inocent families.... well thats what I think

i disagree because even though he's done some bad things, he shouldn't be killed. that goes for every criminal. i dont believe that the death sentence is the answer. unless it's bush you're talking about...

How does killing him make it suitable? shop the ******* in penal complex for something of his existence and make it to the place he has no comforts or luxuries. Killing him is erroneous and too uncomplicated.
