I saw a Dr Demento Top 10 Video show in the 80s on MTV/VH1 and have vague memories of a song that I can't quite remember. The lead singer of the band in the video was a late teen/early twenties guy with orange hair and sang a song about Tangerines. The only lyrics I can remember went something like "She gave me ta-a-a-angerines, ta-a-a-angerines." Ring a bell with anyone?

Other songs on the video show were "I'm on a mexican radio" by Wall of Voodoo and a cover of Elvis' Burnin' Love but I can't remember who did that either. I think Weird Al had a video on the show also.

Tangerine is a 1997 single released by the English indie rock band, Feeder, or a 1995 single released by the American rock band Buffalo Tom, I'd have to hear it to be sure.

The remake of "Burnin' Love" was by Doctor and the Medics.
