Given = theta = 90 radians

90 = S / R
S = 90 R

RADIAL DISTANCE TRAVELLED = 90 TIMES RADIUS

radians are a measure of angle, like degrees. To know how much distance is traveled, you must know distance from rotational axis. If the distance is zero, then you are just twisting 0.5 * pi degrees (2*pi radians in a circle, 360 degrees in a circle).

1 rad = 180˚/π

==> 90 rad = 90*180˚/π = 5156.2˚
==> 5156.2˚/360˚ = 14.3

You end up at going around a circle 14.3 times.

Circumference of a circle (C) is: 2πr = πd

r = radius
d = diameter

So, your distance traveled is14.3*C
