i have a blue and yellow maccow the lady i bought her from told me she was a girl so i named her susie.... hope i'm right

A vet told me when I went to him with the same problem- to turn her over and try to touch its bones down between the legs- if the ball of your finger fits in the groove then its a girl, if the ball of your finger does not fit then its a male.

Bright colored Birds are the males and the females are more subduded .
