The payment can not be mayed on time perhaps because of: lack of funds, difficulties,or other problems.Does not adding a late fee make it more difficult, should not the reverse work better by perhaps lowering the payment?

man< I cannot answer your question but I can feel your pain...
For the past year I have tried to live on cash alone but it is very difficult because we want things... Things we do not need like computers, and Internet and game machines....
The best solution in my mind is buy nothing on credit... get a good education and work had to make good money and do not pay interst on anything.

Honestly if we could get 50 percent of the people who use credit to do this prices would have to drop because you cannot afford to get all of this stuff without credit...so it would not sell.

The fees are intended as a deterrant against late payments and as added income for the credit issuing company because they do not care about you they just want your money....

Pay them off and never borrow again!

If you made a business out of loaning people money and they couldn't pay you, what would become of your business if you lowered the amount of money they had to pay? You'd be the one losing money. Most money loaning places aren't loaning money because they have love for thier fellow man, it's because they want to make money. Many of the "paycheck loan" places prey on poor people....it's unfortunate but it's the nature of the beast. Two rules to live by...if you can't afford something don't buy it, and if you get a loan, read the fine print. As much as they would love you to believe they're there to help you out, all they're there for is making a buck!

The companies like to "punish" people like us so we know better for next time. If you can't afford it you shouldn't have bought the item in the first place. (Thats their standpoint) My husband and myself are now stuck working 7 days a week to get these jerks off our backs. Oh, and by the way, if you refuse to answer their phone calls, they will find and call your family and, or neighbors until the get you.

And you are getting goods or services not in expectation of payment but because you're the world's darling? That's an adult outlook.

If you were not paying me on time, then you are costing me money. I could be using your money for something I want. Why should I be disadvantaged? So I am charging you for my loss of money.
