Is it done on purpose or just coincidence, that Sadam got executed at Id Al - Adha, where Muslims sacrify their best domestic animal, usually sheep, as a symbol of Ibrahaim's sacrifice?

It is on purpose, but not for the reason you say. The Sunni Muslims start Edi today. The Shias do not until Sunday. They (the Shia government) hanged Saddam today, as a slam, an insult, to the Sunnis. Saddam was a Sunni, and had all Sunnis in his government.
Note: The sentence was to be carried out within 30 days--not in 30 days.

it has obviously been done on purpose. Why bring the day foward from Sunday to Saturday all of a sunday? it was meant to be done 30 days after the hearing. So what went wrong
