i think you should talk to the nanny about her responsibilities and if she appears completely and utterly irresponsible then fire her.
about the kid: spend more time with him, try and see if there is something else thats bothering him. put parental controls on the internet...and the tv. see what kind of other kids hang out with him...u know peer pressure and stuff... try to put him in extracurricular activities...get his mind off of "it".

Oh my god. Is this a professional Nanny, or a school aged kid? Report the nanny for one thing, and put some kind of block on the computer. In tools (i think) you can set passwords and locks on certain words etc... Good luck.
