I know someone who is on meds for depression also. This person did the same thing. Slept in very late in the morning. Their doctor told them to change the time they took their meds and it helped them. Some of these meds make you sleepy. So you want to take those at night. Check with her doctor and maybe even the pharmacist. There are many different anti depressants and they may have to try others till they find the best one. Also, these meds do not work overnight. Some will take 3-4 weeks before they even begin to work.

Your wife sounds really depressed. Get her into the doctor. Go in with her. Tell the doctor what you are seeing and that her current meds are not working. Usually it takes trying a few different antidepressants before finding the one that works. Bottom line here is that she is really sick and your kids are also paying the price. Get her in to your doctor ASAP.

Sounds like she may be more than depressed. Maybe she is also bi-polar and needs medication for that as well? There could also be some real physical medical issue going on. Maybe she has some vitamin or mineral deficiency, or some other critical condition such as unfound cancer that also causes you to feel drained with no energy. She needs a complete physical and mental health assessment.

Wow, you extremely need to speak to her while she's no longer dozing so which you do no longer look such as you're nagging her. Take her out to dinner, and have a communication approximately why she keeps to be in mattress. she would be waiting to in all probability open as much as you. She might desire to hate her existence and basically desire to get faraway from it by potential of basically mendacity in mattress and putting her head under the covers, if so, there's a important issue, perhaps with your marriage/the little ones have become her down, perhaps something else which isn't particularly obtrusive. OR she's basically straight forward drained, propose her to get a bloodtest to be certain if shes amemic (sorry, do no longer know a thank you to spell it). even if seems to be like inflicting the undertaking, it maximum definately is something that needs to alter asap. Get a babysitter and take her out and communicate.... communication is top.....good success xx

she may seem okay as far as her depression goes when she is out of bed, but, if she spends most of her time there, her depression is doing more damage. she needs to see someone about the meds she is on, they arent working. and sometimes certain meds have adverse effects, and make someone MORE depressed. talk to her calmly and be supportive, tell her you think for her sake and for your kids sake, as well as for you, that the two of you go together to talk someone, if she wants you there with her. let her know you support the issue, she needs something else.
