I've seen the nature shows about how they find remains of past human-like animals....And the proof has shown evidence about us and other organisms evolving.......but how does evolutuion connect to christianity - Like adam and Eve... explain that* please

You can still be a Christian and beleive in evolution - my teacher said that Adam and Eve were created when the evolved human-like organisms were able to know the difference between right and wrong and she says that that is when the first humans had souls

I have had great conflict with these issues also. I give you this:

We know that evolution occurs...species change. It is not a question of why does evolution happen...because it is in fact bound to happen. Due to radiation from our sun genes undergo mutations, causing variations. Did you know that the human brain is 10% smaller than it was 300 years ago? Did you know that human beings used artificial selection to evolve into existence broccoli? Broccoli was created when men artificially selected those mustard plants with the most desirable characteristics (in this instance the parts of the plant they wanted to eat), and mated them together. You can’t eat broccoli while denying evolution….sorry my little joke.

So the fact that evolution occurs is true! Here is the problem...human beings have a desire to understand the inner workings of our universe. We desire to understand where we came from and where we are going....and what the purpose of life is. Just like evolution...religion is an attempt to help us get those answers. The truth is we have no flipping idea how the universe was created and if there is life after death.....

So take from this what you will...odds are yes we are primates and we evolved from other primates. As you said we have fossils showing us this...We know that yes...most likely all of the species on this planet through millions of years of evolution evolved from one single organism....Now! This is the problem...how the heck did that organism come into existence!...

While your thinking about this keep in mind one thing...there is just as much evidence proving evolution than there is proving the existence of God....absolutely none!

Just because evolution is true does not mean that there is no God.

P.S. I suggest you purchase the book HUMAN published by the Smithonian Institute it covers just about everything that you could want to know about our species.

well i do like the first answer but christainity is a lame attemp to explain thing that early man couldent begin to understand. the reason is lack of tools. as society progressed our tools became better. our understaning of nature and the mechanics of the universe bacame better. with microscopes, telescopes, chemistry and most importantly an open mind by which to challeng the preconsived notions of what was except to be true. today we our coming to understand our universe and ourselves better the the bibles authors could ever

i advize you look to science, it may not be a romantic as the idea of a universe that sanpeed into excistance in the form it is today rather than gradually growing and evolving. science really does inter-connect everything. basic level we are made of atom and the same elements that make us excist in all the stars and planets. on the grand level we our one world around one of a hundred BILLION stars belonging to one galaxy in a hundred BILLION

The largest Church in the world (Roman Catholic) acknowledges that evolution is a fact and that the stories in Genesis are just that: STORIES and an early bronze-age culture's mythology.

Does this make G-d less? No, it makes him bigger than anything I can imagine. Does it make us less? No, for me it means that his love is infinite and he cares about each individual soul in as much as he cares about everything in the universe.

Look at the big picture, if he can be of such immense power to create a universe as complex like the one astronomers and physicists continuously tell us about, how hard do you think making a virgin conceive would be for him?

Adam and Eve were amoeba like creatures that enjoyed a nice primordial soup environment and then walked out one day and the rest is history.

Now there is nothing to the contrary that something incredibly intelligent created the recipe and kitchen isn't to blame.

I am a Muslim. You will be conceived if u read all that i'll write!!!!!!!!!
Adam was the first man who placed foot on the earth and Eve was created from his rib. I am a student of comparative religion and i also have studied the Modern theories of Evolution Proposed by Nobel prize winning Scientists...

To Think that the Humans have been evolved from the Ape Is quite illogical. Humans were created. I have read the evolutionary history. If ape, chimpanzee and monkeys look like humans that doesn;t mean they have evolved from each other.

The theory of evolution that is famous is of Charles Darwin's.
If you read the book by Charles Darwin ‘The Origin of Species’ - It says that… “Charles Darwin went on an island by the name of ‘Keletropist’ on a ship named as ‘HMS Beagel’ and there he found birds pecking at niches. Depending upon the Ecological niches they peck, the beaks kept on becoming long and short. This observation was made in the same species - not in different species”. Charles Darwin wrote a letter to his friend Thomas Thomtan, in 1861 saying ‘I do not believe in ‘Natural Selection’- the word that you use - I don’t believe in ‘Theory of Evolution’ because I haven’t got any proof. I only believe in it because it helps me in classification of Embryology, in Morphology, in rudimentary organs’. Charles Darwin himself said that , there were missing links. He did not agree with it - He himself said that there were missing links.

‘Lucy’ - there were four ‘Homonites’. Science tells us today that there were four ‘Homonites’ - first is ‘Lucy’ along with its guy ‘Dosnopytichest’, which died about 3 and a 1/2 million years - the Ice Age. Then next came the ‘Homosepians’, who died about 5 hundred thousand years ago. Then came the ‘Neanderthal Man’, who died hundred to forty thousand years ago. Then came the fourth stage, ‘the Cromagnon’. 'THERE IS NO LINK AT ALL BETWEEN THESE STAGES.'- According to P. P. Grasse in 1971 who held the Chair of Evolutionary Studies in Paris, in Sojerion University. He said… ‘It is absurd - We cannot say who were our ancestors based on fossils’.

If you know of Sir Albert George who got the Noble prize for inventing… for inventing the Vitamin ‘C’ - He wrote the book ‘The Can’t Ape and Man’, against Darwin’s Theory. Again if you read, Sir Fred Hoyle’s work - he wrote several works against Darwin’s Theory. If you know about Ruperts Albert, this person wrote a new theory of evolution against Darwin’s Theory. Its unthinkable… you cannot think that we are created from the Apes. Its absurd-- we can't say who are our ancestors on teh basis of fossils.

Your teacher says that they were the first humans that had souls. Does she knows What is "SOUL" ?? does other animals not have souls ? or what ? And Christianity.. ? The Bible Itself contains 100z of unscientific statements.. how could it prove the theory of evolution ? well i dont want to hurt the feelings of Christians so i dont touch that point.

I am A Student of Comparative religions. And if u need any aditional information regarding religions and it.. my email is cyborrg88@hotmail.com.
Thanks

Sorry, but christianity can contribute nothing in explaining the world. You can't connect evolution to christianity. Christianity is based on a book. A collection of fables! If it works for you as a moral guideline or whatever, that's fine! But remember:

THIS BOOK IS A WORK OF FICTION!! IT DOES NOT RELY ON FACTS!!!! THE AUTHOR DOES NOT ASSUME ANY RESPONSABILITY FOR ANY ACTIONS TAKEN BASED ON THE CONTENTS OF THIS BOOK!!!!

Xtrobe, the self-proclaimed scholar of comparative religious studies, cut and pasted some Islamic claptrap about evolution. There were so many things (>25) wrong with it that I despaired of every answering them all. Fortunately, somebody already did (see link below). LOL.

No Pope has ever used his infallible potential whilst it concerns how existence started, it has in basic terms been used relating to the Blessed Virgin Mary, in spite of the undeniable fact that, JP II generic evolution, Pius XII, who enjoyed astronomy, got here out in want of the large Bang concept, he believed that what the large Bang got here approximately because of the fact of God, and thats what started the Universe as all of us comprehend it. i'm a Catholic and that i think evolution got here approximately. How and why, we don't comprehend a hundred%. i think of Darwin became suitable for the main section, off on some issues, yet close. the Catholic Church has on no account stated that the creation tale in Genisis must be taken actually, its a tale, no longer the literal blow with the aid of blow account.

christianity is full of sh!T...if its religion is full of it...up to the chin.!
now evolution i am not sure about...its interesting...but i dont think we are clever enough as people to aknowledge that...if we were monkeys once...then now we are human...but we dont have prove of that..some of us dont remember what we had yesterday for lunch...how can we remember what we were before we were humans? Personally i think we are nothing, and we make a big fuzz of life it self ...we are natural species on a planet like many other millions in the universe and we will die and reborn again and again and again..till the end of time...
