No, you just keep it at home and appreciate you. Appreciate the fact that she gave you a gift at all.

If she is a true friend be truthful to her, tell her that appreciated that she thought of you in her gift-giving, but you do not like the film, and if she asks you the reason why, just tell her. If she is a good friend she will understand, most friends know their friends likes and dislikes, and she should understand that this film would not be to your liking.. If this is not possible talking to her truthfully than keep the film, what can you lose by keeping it, it is after-all just a film, and you will not have lost a friend.

Just consider the fact that she was thinking about you in the manner to even give you something and just learn to appreciate the very small things that people do for you but on the other hand if you do not like it just give it unto somebody else who will certainly appreciate it since you are not grateful for it.

Your friend took the time to buy you a gift. Accept it with gratitude and don't return it to her. That would be so unappreciative. You don't have to love something to appreciate the kind gesture. Thank her and just keep being her friend. You'd feel worse if she didn't think to get you anything, wouldn't you? I know I would.

Just put up and dont worry about it. you dont have to like it the point was that she thought enough about you to get it. On the other hand if you two are friends you should be able to talk to each other openly without being offended.

Just keep it and if she insists on questioning''Did you like it?''you can't avoid her forever so sit and watch the movie after all it's two or three hours it won't be that bad..

you don't have to tell her you don't like it. just say thank you (if you haven't already) and leave it at that. you don't have to watch it, and you should not hurt her feelings. Her friendship should mean more than the gift itself.
