I asked this because the city of NY plans to build over a graveyard.

There already is a priceless resource there which should never be disturbed.

It should depend on the "value" of that valuable resource. Let us say, if it is going to cure the cancers or end the world hunger, then our passed heroes will consider it as an honor. Remember that they gave their lives up for the country. They would want nothing more.

Depends....how far under....what resource...and can it be mined by approaching it at an angle so as not to disrupt the actual cemetery.

they do it all the time here in the southwest; disturbing ancient burial sites, stealing ancient artifacts, disrespecting one's who have been here before......

if somebody is greedy enough, it will happen.
