They can eat a wide variety of grasses, weeds, and greens. They can also eat some leaves and flowers, such as hibiscus flowers and mulberry leaves. I'd avoid fruits. Variety is the key to a healthy tortoise. Don't forget opuntia cactus pads (a.k.a. prickly pear cactus but there are spineless varieties) - you can order them from www.russiantortoise.org Remove any spines before offering it to the tortoise

Visit www.tortoisetrust.org for more information on tortoises.

Don't forget the UVB and heat light if kept indoors, and a calcium suppliment.

My daughter volunteers at an area reptile rescue middle and many years in the past we followed a Greek tortoise..typically they actually end eating even as something is inaccurate. Greek tortoises are voracious eaters. you want to call a reptile vet ASAP. Tortoises can fall ill very straight away and when they do, it would want to get undesirable quick!! strong success...Greek tortoises are impressive pets!!!
