Dirk. Steve Nash is good because he has the best starting five to play with and the bench is pretty good too. No wonder he gets 11 assists a game. Dirk is a very good shooter, free throw shooter, and rebounder and an overall better player.

They play different positions. so it is hard to compare. I think Dirk has more skills than Steve Nash though. He is a better inside man, a better shooter, better defender, and a better rebounder. hes not afraid to take the game winning shot either as he did the other night against phoenix. Steve nash does make the players arpound him better. the problem with Steve Nash is his defense sucks. I would rather have Dirk on my team than steve nash anyday.

not a very good question because they really arnt comparable...i mean steve nash is arguably the best pg in the nba and accels at "his " position extremely well...meanwhile Dirk does the same in his, i guess if i had to pick id look past steve nash's 2 mvps and take dirk soley because he is the definition of a matchup nightmare being as he is basically a 7 foot guard

Hard comparison. Both are great at their positions. Dirk is tough as nails. Plays like he's 6'5", Nash is going to go down as one the all-time great point guards. Both play an up-tempo style. Too close, I can't call it. Great game a few days ago, I think Dirk hit a game winner?

that is such a hard question to answer, Steve Nash has won the MVP Twice in a row so i think he is better, but i still like Dirk more because love the Dallas Mavericks
