THEY PLAY DIFFERENT POSITIONS. FOR A PROPER PROSPECTIVE YOU MUST COMPARE PLAYERS THAT PLAY THE SAME POSITION.

steve
Many people say he cant score like Dirk or shoot the 3 like dirk, but in fact he dose those things better then Dirk!!! If he want he will score 40+ a game, he will..but instead he passes the ball more and leads the NBA in assists..Plus he can accutaly play some defence!! Dirk cant defend anyone and never will, steve get sneaky and coustly steals that get his team easy and quick points!!
In my mind steve is mutch better the Dirk..he already got 2 MVPS titles and what dose dirk have?..just wait till he gets #3 this year

Dirk is better because of his ability to shoot the three better than most guards. His free throw shooting also is very good. Nash has the best starting four to play with. Well of course he's gonna get 11 assists a game. Most of his team can shoot threes at a high percentage. Dirk is an overall better player.

Hands down, Steve Nash. He is a more versatile player with less injuries slowing him down.

2 different positions, 2 of the best the game has ever seen. Can't compare them; Can't compare a point guard to a power forward.
