Yes, it's called moderation. It isn't perfect, but it is stable. Just look at a healthy diet. It doesn't always balance out, but it does work.

yes...but only until the conditions which have changed equilibrium are realized to be destabilizing are restored.
if restoration is unfulfilled then the destabilizing process resumes.
restoration may or may not be a conscious realization but the entire organ(ization) will know and the conscious may or may not make the adjustment.
for one example.
respect for/of expressions/manifestations to reveal of a conscious (of self and other(s)) what has been a destabilizing
influence and therefore enabled to make the adjustments
such as.....that a child cry because there is doo doo bringing discomforts in its' diaper.
stability is present and apparent because the child has not made the situation worsened by the disequilibrium created in body and conscious of the discomfort of sticky stinky sleep arresting substance.
very good question
be well

Yes. Its called "unstable equilibrium." Basically, this is "equilibrium" that will NOT tend to correct itself if it is disrupted (as opposed to "stable equilibrium" which does have such a tendency). If your question is meant philosophically, the same concept would apply.

Yes, the "unstable equilibrium" answer above is correct. This is an important concept in many economic theories.
