The Reliant Robin (often but incorrectly known as the Robin Reliant), is a small three-wheeled car manufactured by the Reliant Motor Company in Tamworth, England. Being a three-wheeler, the Robin can be driven on either a motorcycle or car licence in the United Kingdom, and can be registered and insured as a motorcycle at considerable savings over a conventional car. The single wheel in the front steered, while the engine (also in the front) drove the rear axle.
To whoever is giving the thumbs down to all the correct answers do you think all the bikers who own trikes have got car licences.

In the UK and on a FULL motorbike license you can drive a three wheeled vehicle up to (about) 600kg net weight provided that reverse gear is not fitted or immobilised permanently.
Just don't drive into your garage forwards!
Robin Reliant, Bond, Bubble cars (1960's) can all comply with this restriction

My dad drove a three wheeler for nearly 20 years on a motorbike and a provisional drivers license. But you MUST block off the reverse gear.

Steve D is correct the Robin Reliant or the 2 cylinder diesel car looks like a smart car, they will do about 70mph but because of some loop hole in the licencing law you can legally drive it on UK highway with a full motorcycle licence.

You need to check this out but I believe since the demise of Reliant there are still certain "Micro cars" that can be driven on a bike license. I can't for the life of me remember the make but they are French and have a tiny little 2 cylinder diesel engine. Get Exchange and Mart and I think they advertise in the Reliant section

i assume ur in the states. if so, and u only have a license that says 'motorcycle only', u can only drive a motorcycle or a moped. u cant legally drive cars until u have passed: the written permit test, and the driver test for a car, then have the permit upgraded to a license.
and no...u cant legally drive a trike with just a mc endorsement. there's a separate endorsment called '3 wheeled motorcycles', and they also require a test to get the endorsement.

How many peanut butter sandwiches can you make with a loaf of bread and a package of bologna?
The same as the number of cars you can drive with a motorbike license.
Zero, in case you didn't figure it out.

Reliant Robin/Rialto. Also Smart citycar (I'd go for the Reliant it's less embarrasing!!) As long as the laden weight does not exceed 750Kg your generally ok. Technically speaking if you stripped out a Lotus Elise that would qualify as long as your light!!!

Depends on where you are at. Call the local office where you get you liesen. Here you can only have 2 wheels. trikes and side cars need an extra indorement.
